Lundi, Mardi, Mercredi

On Monday I went to LanguageCast for the first time in what's probably a month, and it wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be. I did go with Agnes to be fair, and we went early, so there were plenty of free seats and nervous Korean first and second timers. I spent a productive 75 mins studying my manually made flashcards with new friends while Michael laughed at me, and spent the rest of the time chatting to Julianne and Evan while Eddie attempted to teach me how to march Korean-military style.

It's hard to do with a skirt.
Having a lack of kinetic talent adds another level of difficulty.

We waited for the LC crew to clean up the cafe before we all headed out for BBQ together. Jules and I wanted to help, but they wouldn't let us. So we sat and listened to Evan tell stories about the times everyone in the crew got wasted.

BBQ After LC

Tuesday

Continuing with the theme of Korean boot camp this week, I went to Momo's Cafe near Oncheonjang with Deb and Em to drill flashcards while drinking coffee and eating cake. The coffee shop was recently renovated, and now resembles a charming and spacious tree house with multi levels, surrounded by foliage and big stone statues of dogs standing on their hind legs. It's quirky, but I like the concept.

Wednesday

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Of course, it would have been better if JW went, but it doesn't really matter. I was barely civil though. And I don't even care.

Thursday, today.

I'm going to korean class today after a three week hiatus, so hopefully I won't be too far behind. Not working out at all this week makes me feel sluggish and lethargic; this weekend will be spent being active.
