Wednesday Broadcast - Willy The Dreamer

Last Wednesday, I adapted this story into a simplified power point presentation for my students over broadcast. It was Willy The Dreamer by Anthony Browne.

Afterwards, I challenged the students with a worksheet that asked them about their dream jobs. I would pick the five best submissions, and those students would win a small prize this Wednesday. Unfortunately, we only have a total of eight submissions, and my co-teacher wants to delay the deadline until next Wednesday. I really don't mind either way, as the students who did submit their worksheets did a fantastic job.

Sometimes I forget that children hold infinite potential, and their innocence allows them to be fearless with their ambitions, even if they are as high as the stars. Some of us as adults are embarrassed, afraid even, to even say aloud what we really want. Because if you never admit it, you can never be held account for it right?
